Vikramaditya Motwane's upcoming film, tentatively titled 'Trapped', stars Rajkummar Rao. The film will premiere at the ongoing Mumbai Film Festival (MAMI) on October 26.

The teaser poster that the makers released mentioned the cast, director and producer but not the film's title. 'Trapped', the makers have decided, will be subject to change post today's premiere.

A source close to the film says, "In a rare move, the makers have decided to release the teaser poster without a title since the plan is to gather suggestions and feedback from the audience. It is probably a first for Bollywood. They not only wish to engage the audience but also make them part of the film."

A survival drama, the film backed by Anurag Kashyap's Phantom Productions, features National Award-winning actor Rajkummar Rao, whose character is trapped in a room for 25 days. It was shot within a month in Mumbai last year.

The actor says, "This is a special film for me and that it is premiering at a Mumbai film festival is remarkable. I am excited to hear from the audience. It's been a great journey shooting with Vikramaditya."

The film is set to screen in the Spotlight section, where the work of other well-known filmmakers is being shown. Vikramaditya says, "My film is set in Mumbai, and I am delighted that it is being screened for the first time at MAMI. It is an apt platform to showcase it at home, and before an international audience."
