With his upcoming film, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, set to hit the marquee tomorrow, Varun Dhawan is already looking forward to his future projects.
The actor, who had confirmed that he was going to team up with filmmaker Shoojit Sircar for a film last month, told reporters yesterday, "I wanted to work with Shoojit Sircar after watching Vicky Donor (2012) and Piku (2015). Finally, it is happening. I like his narration and the shoot will start after Judwaa 2."
Previous reports had suggested that the film, apparently a gritty thriller, will be written by Juhi Chaturvedi (Vicky Donor, Piku). Varun also has father David Dhawan's comic caper, Judwaa 2, a sequel to the filmmakers 1997 release featuring Salman Khan, in his kitty.
Talking about his Badrinath Ki Dulhania co-star, Alia Bhatt, he said, "She is a wonderful co-actor and is a natural. We know each other and take the cue from one another. She does not like too many rehearsals before a take and acts instinctively."
