Tiger Shroff's upcoming film, 'Munna Michael' has already started to court controversy. A Mumbai-based writer has filed a case in the Bombay High Court against the actor and the film's makers.

Writer Kritik Kumar Pandey has said that he decided to take legal action after he was unable to reach Tiger Shroff.

Pandey further states that he and Tiger were in contact over mails for about a year during a script narration for a film in which Tiger Shroff would be portrayed as an ardent Michael Jackson fan. It was only after the official announcement of 'Munna Michael' that he realised that the story has been copied from his idea.

Apart from leading star Tiger Shroff, three others have been named in the petition.

'Munna Michael' starring Tiger Shroff, is being directed by Sabbir Khan, who also directed Shroff in his Bollywood debut 'Heropanti' opposite Kriti Sanon and 'Baaghi'.

'Munna Michael' also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and debutante Nidhi Aggerwal.
