Trend bend
I've never gone by the trend. I have just re-interpreted some evergreen numbers like Chura Liya, Dum Maro Dum. I've also worked on Tumhe Aana Padega as a tribute to Feroze Khan. It's been a real challenge to make an elegant song like Chura Liya into a dance track. Remixes have been dead for quite a while now and I think it is because the whole genre was too overdone. Any and every song was being remixed and it just didn't work. Remixes are great way to re-introduce our golden classics to our younger generations. But the way it was being done, they were losing their charm.u00a0
Right on track
I was long overdue for an album; it's been almost two years now. So I did what I know best. Remixes are more fun when you choose the songs you want to work. According to me, a song has to have a soul and character in order to be remixed. It also has to have an ability to turn into a great dance track.

It's not an easy job. One has to compromise a lot on sleep and rest. One is always travelling and doing shows. Juggling the time between family and work is the toughest. One can't always be out working late nights. I try and do less shows but I guess, one can only do that much. On the other hand, I do like visiting nightclubs around the world and checking them out their vibe. But apart from that, I just like to spend time with my family, either playing videogames with my children.
