Thanks to his background as an army kid, Vidyut Jamwal recently got to meet real-life commandos
Spending a day in the midst of jawans and army folks is no easy task. And it was due to Vidyut Jamwal’s late father’s profession that he was able to meet and greet soldiers at the military training school in Benares recently.

A source says, “It is not easy to gain access to one of the most high profile military training schools in India. His father was once a part of the Indian Army.
While promoting his recent film in Benares, Vidyut visited the 39 GTC training centre and where no common civilian is allowed due to strict security. His late father’s connections got him the special permissions. Vidyut even got to watch soldiers during their training sessions.”
Vidyut was briefed about ways how a soldier defends himself or prepares for an attack. “Vidyut too took part in their rigorous training programme and performed the 26-obstacle training that a soldier performs during his schedule there that includes rock climbing and other difficult tasks. He managed to impressed the officers as well.”
Says Vidyut, “The commandos are the real action heroes!”u00a0
