Emraan Hashmi talks about his hits, health and his hot heroine Vidya Balan
Emraan Hashmi has been working round the clock. Despite being ill and down with the flu, the actor has been busy giving interviews for his latest release at the box office. But he is happy to discuss his health, his recent film with Vikram Bhatt and working with Vidya Balan yet again.

The response at the box office for my film has improved my health a lot. I am feeling better right now!
The year seems to be going good for you
Yes, even Jannat 2 got a huge opening of about Rs 8 crore plus. A lot of people took notice of me in Shanghai and realized I can do multi-faceted roles. Overall it has been a good year for me.

This for trade pundit to tell but the audience has endorsed me from my first film itself. I always wanted to be the darling of the masses.
In Raaz 3 we somehow missed the ‘hero’ Emraan!
Everyone has perceptions when they go to see a film and when they don’t come true they feel bad. In Raaz 3 I was playing a character and it was not that of a traditional hero. If the other characters overshadowed mine, then it is a victory for me.

How’s it working with Vidya Balan again in Ghanchakkar?
Just like our last film The Dirty Picture, we are very much going for each other’s throat in this film as well. We play a couple, who has been married for a while and are constantly fighting.
Is it true that you have been approached for a YRF film as well?
I like to talk about films only after I have signed them. But yes, I have been approached by a lot of people.u00a0
