For the last few days, Sushant Singh Rajput has been in 'deep waters' — and he is enjoying it. As part of his prep for Dinesh Vijan's debut directorial 'Raabta', the actor has been undergoing training in open water swimming for a crucial sequence in the film. Sushant has been paired opposite Kriti Sanon in the love story.

Says a source close to the actor, "The film goes on floors next month and since Sushant has to dive into the ocean for one of the scenes, he is taking lessons in open water swimming, which is completely different from pool swimming and requires a different skill set altogether. Open water is more susceptible to various elements like fluctuations in water temperature, surface chop from wind and strong currents that can dramatically effect how long one can swim."

Confirming the story, Sushant says, "Learning how to swim is something that I have put off for many years. Raabta requires hardcore underwater sequences. I have started with it recently and hope I pull it off with ease."

The actor recently wrapped up the shoot of Neeraj Pandey's 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story'.
