Sunny Leone seems to have finally reacted to Ram Gopal Varma's controversial Women's Day tweet. The actress, however, measured her words to avoid a media feeding frenzy as she wrote on Twitter yesterday, "Change only happens when we have one voice, so let's choose our words wisely! Peace and love!"
Controversy erupted when the filmmaker posted a sexist tweet on Wednesday that read, "I wish all women in the world give men as much happiness as Sunny Leone gives." After much furore and a case against him in Goa, the filmmaker issued an apology.
He said, "I apologise to all who were offended due to my unintended insensitive tweets... My apology is only to those who genuinely got offended and not to those who ranted for publicity and threatened to take law into their hands (sic)."
