Veteran actor Randhir Kapoor, father of Karisma and Kareena Kapoor Khan celebrated his 71st birthday on Thursday. What really melted everyone's hearts was the birthday cake! It wasn't like any other normal high-protein and gluten-free cake but something extremely precious written on it. The cake had Randhir's grandchildren - Samaira and Kiaan (Karisma's children) and Taimur Ali Khan's name designed on it with a beautiful birthday wish - "Happy Birthday Nanu". Karisma took to her Instagram account to share the pictures from the intimate family gathering.
In attendance were daughters Karisma and Kareena with mother Babita. Brother Rishi Kapoor with wife Neetu Kapoor and Aadar Jain were present at the birthday bash. While Karisma looked elegant in a shiny orange top paired with a pleated long red skirt, Kareena looked ravishing in a black halter neck top paired with pants. The diva flaunted her toned and well-sculpted body.

Randhir Kapoor recently attended his iconic father - Raj Kapoor's Excellence Awards. Speaking of daddy's roles that Randhir loved the most, he said that he loves the 'common man' role played by him. "He created the 'common man' character Raju for himself. One of my favourite films of his - not produced or directed by him - is 'Anari', which again had the same common man which Hrishikesh (Mukherjee) da took (inspiration from). I like the common man character," he said.
He also spoke about Internet's favourite and his grandson Taimur. He maintained that being constantly in the media glare has robbed the 'normalcy' of star-kids. "Certainly, it has been robbed. Every day, I get up in the morning and I see a picture of my grandson in newspapers. Now everyone recognises his maid also! That's because of the paparazzi."
