In an interview with film critic and host Rajeev Masand, Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor made a startling revelation of being molested when she was younger.
The Bollywood Roundtable 2016, hosted by Rajeev Masand, also included actresses Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, Vidya Balan and Radhika Apte.
While addressing the issue of child sexual abuse, Sonam Kapoor said, "I know I have been molested when I was younger and it was traumatising."
To which Vidya Balan replied, "It's not her fault and that's the biggest problem a victim deals with."
Anushka Sharma added that her mother always used to keep asking her questions on being 'inappropriately touched' which she found odd then as a young girl. "I thought something was wrong with her," the 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' actress said.
The episode is expected to air this weekend.
