Sonam Kapoor shares sneak peek of 'Padman'

Bollywood actress and fashionista Sonam Kapoor has shared a sneak peek of her film 'Padman' starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role on social media

Everyone is eagerly awaiting the release of Akshay Kumar's next film 'Padman'. The film will be directed by ace filmmaker R. Balki and will also star actress and fashionista, Sonam Kapoor.

'Padman' is based on the success story of Arunachalam Muruganantham, who invented India's cheapest sanitary napkins. The story was penned by Twinkle Khanna, who is also producing the film. A Twitter user posted a picture of Sonam sitting in an aircraft with R. Balki. Sonam confirmed the veracity of the picture and captioned it as 'a sneak peek' of 'Padman'. She replied by saying:

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan is also said to have a cameo in the film. 'Padman' claims to aim at removing the stigma around menstruation and spreading awareness about the same. Radhika Apte will be seen playing the role of Akshay Kumar's wife, but details about Sonam Kapoor's role have not been revealed.
