As far as musical pursuits go, Sonakshi Sinha seems to be ticking all the right boxes. The actress, who shared the stage with British band Coldplay and Jay Z at the Global Citizen Festival-India last year, is one of the opening acts at the hotly anticipated Justin Bieber Mumbai concert on May 10.

Sonakshi, a self-confessed Belieber, is now working on a new single and intends to launch it at the Grammy winner's Purpose World Tour show at Navi Mumbai's DY Patil Stadium. Arjun Jain of White Fox India, which is hosting Bieber in India, says, "We are looking at innovative opening acts for the Bieber concert and would love to have Sonakshi as part of it. It's too early to confirm, but discussions are underway."

Asked about the upcoming concert, Sona says, "I am really fond of Bieber's music. I love how his sound has evolved over the years. Today, he reaches out to a universal fan base. I am definitely looking forward to the event." Bieber's tour is in support of his acclaimed fourth album, Purpose.
