Ever since this actor's personal life went awry a few months ago, he has been linked to several co-stars. Of late, rumour mills have been abuzz with news of his fascination for a much younger actress. While both choose to remain tight-lipped about their liaison, those in the know say that the two are going strong. And now, he is pushing for her to be cast opposite him in a forthcoming film, despite the director having another actress in mind.

Says a source, “The two actors feature together in a musical and he is definitely attracted to her. Recently, a director announced a project with the actor and wanted a relatively new actress to star opposite him. He was of the opinion that since their chemistry is unexplored, it will prove beneficial for the film. However, the actor expressed his displeasure and insisted that his new flame be cast instead.”

This didn’t go down well with the director, but since this actor is also co-producing the project, he is keen that something be worked out.

“The director is aghast with the way the actor is dictating terms and refuses to budge,” adds the source.
