Shot in the dark: B-Town power couple foot their holiday to the producers

This Bollywood power couple may have the maximum number of air miles to boast of. But looks like on their last holiday abroad, they decided to conveniently pass the buck, and the bill, to the producer of the actor-husband's upcoming film

Sources say the star had been shooting in Europe when the schedule was almost coming to an end. He decided to take a four-day break with his wife and asked the production house behind his next film to foot the bill.

The makers had no choice but to reluctantly agree to cough up the money for their expensive stay. Those close to the producers say that they didn’t want the actor to throw tantrums on the sets of their new film and had to bow to his wish.

Says a unit-hand, “The actor had almost finished shooting for the first film when he was joined by his wife on the sets. They decided to extend their Europe stay and bring in their anniversary together. The producers of his next film were stunned but had no choice but to accommodate his wishes.”u00a0
