The music director has been getting movie offers

Shekhar Ravjiani (of Vishal-Shekhar) is not just a composer, he's even a playback singer. And of late, he has also been getting movie offers too. Recently, there was buzz that a producer from the South had approached Shekhar for a movie.

Reacting to this, he says, "I've been offered films, but not South ones. I don't see myself doing a movie down South." When asked if he plans to get serious about acting, Shekhar says, "I'd definitely love to try my hand at acting if I get something interesting. However, it would require some serious dedication from my end. For now, I haven't said yes to any acting offers."

Adding that he has zero experience in acting he says, "I will need to study all aspects of filmmaking. I never thought I'd become a full-fledged music director or that I'd sing for other composers, but all that has happened. I look at acting the same way. I know the day I get a serious offer, I'll take it up andu00a0 make the required efforts."

Does he see himself as the next Farhan Akhtar (who debuted as an actor last year with Rock On!!), Shekhar says, "He's been a director, so the transformation was easy. Also, he is one of the most natural actors we have. He doesn't make an effort to act, he's just himself."
