Shaking a leg with Mithun was great, says son Mimoh

Mimoh, son of veteran Bollywood actor and dancing star of 80s, Mithun Chakravarthy, says shaking a leg with his father on screen was a great experience.

"In my upcoming movie 'Spaghetti 24X7', I not only share the screen space with my father, but also have a dance sequence with him," Mimoh said. "We have recently finished the shooting for the dance and it was a great experience. While mine steps were more of hip-hop kind, his were Indian masala," he said. Dancing with him was a great experience. We have both seen each other dance separately; it was for the first time that we were dancing together, the 'Jimmy' actor said. After the completion of the shoot, I was so excited that I went around telling everyone about it, he said. Still, Mimoh feels that the father-son duo coming together is not the USP of the movie. "USP of any movie is its script. Certainly, we being together is one of the attractions," he said.

So, is another 'Chandni Bar' on the anvil? No, says Mimoh. The characters are real but as our director, Gaurav Pandey, wanted it, the movie is an out and out commercial venture.

In next 3-4 days, the shooting of the movie would be wrapped up.. it is expected to hit the screens by May or June, he said. On his disastrous debut, 'Jimmy' which sank without a trace at the box office, Mimoh says, it was a learning experience.

"I have learnt a lot from 'Jimmy'. Most importantly, I have learnt the pros and cons of me as an actor from the movie. Now, I am putting all that experience in use while working on my future projects," he said.

Though his father nowadays is seen as a judge of a dancing show on the small screen, Mimoh wants to stay away from it for some while now. "TV is an entirely different medium. I am not interested in taking up any work on the tube right now. May be in future, I would," he said adding he wants to concentrate only on films at present.
