A far cry from his romantic image, the actor adds high-octane South musical hits to the play list he will perform on at an upcoming awards gala
If his choice of songs to perform at a forthcoming award ceremony in Singapore is any indication, it looks like Shahid Kapoor is keen to shed his romantic image. A mix of heavy-duty Tamil tracks interspersed with a few Hindi seems to be the actor’s modus operandi for the purpose.

It is learnt that Sasha has decided on chartbusters like Annathe Adurar (Aboorva Sagotharargal) and Apadi Podu (Gilli) as the main tracks for his dance performance to be choreographed by Prabhudeva.
While the actor was unavailable for comment, a friend of his said, “The kind of dance Sahhid is doing this time is something he’s never done before. And since Prabhudeva is choreographing it, there will be a lot of high-energy movements.
Since it’s a first, it’s taken him longer to get his movements right. Usually, he doesn’t rehearse much and perfects his moves within a day. This time, he has rehearsed for about four days.” u00a0
