Sanjay Dutt takes time off to shake a leg with singer Kylie Minogue 
Sanjay Dutt, who has been campaigning more than shooting of late, has found the time to shoot an item song for Blue with international singing sensation Kylie Minogue.
Dates diverted
A source from the unit reveals, "Earlier this month, Sanjay was supposed to be shooting for the film from the 3rd till the 10th.
But the actor called the producers and said he would not be able to come for the shooting, as he was busy with the political planning for the elections.
Then a different set of dates was allotted from the Feb 23 to Feb 28 wherein the unit was supposed to shoot all over Mumbai."
A large chunk was to be shot at Mukesh Mills near the docks but Sanju called in the makers once again and cancelled his shoot citing election issues."
Akshay Kumar's, Zayed Khan's and Lara Dutta's dates were wasted. On paper, the film was supposed to be shot in 80 days of principal shooting but after 170-odd days, the film is still far from complete.

Last night, Grammy Award winning singer and performer Kylie Minogue flew in to do a special item number for the film with Akshay Kumar.
"Although Dutt was not required to be a part of the song, he has told them that he is available to shoot from March 1-5.
Initially, the song was meant to be shot on Akki, Katrina and Kylie but now Sanju too wants to be a part of this main promotional track", concludes the source.
Director Anthony D'Souza maintains, "Sanjay Dutt's very much required for Kylie's song. The entire cast features in it and he did not cancel any shoot. Our dates were always from March 1.
He has been very supportive and I will go on record to say that Mr Dutt has been my mentor and as far as the Mukesh Mills scene is concerned, that is scheduled for March 10."
