Like any other starlet, Sameera Reddy too wants to throw her weight around. She did it recently before boarding a flight to Delhi. Eyewitnesses at the Mumbai airport were shocked to see the tantrumsu00a0 she threw when she wasn't moved to a VIP lounge. 
Last Tuesday (October 27), was the first day of the mandatory runway closure. As a result, flight schedules went haywire and many passengers were stranded at the airport for a long period of time. By evening, the flights resumed. Sameera was travelling alone on an evening flight out of Mumbai to Delhi and was flying business class; her flight, too, was delayed by 45-odd minutes.
A source present at the airport reveals, "When she found out that her flight was delayed, she agreed to pass time at the lounge the airline provided and made her way there after checking in. Once there, she was shocked to see it packed with other travellers. The lounge was packed and there wasn't a single seat available. She made a scene and called the duty manager to come and sort her a VIP room as she didn't really want to mingle with the other travellers."
"When the duty manager refused to give her access to the VIP room which was temporarily shut off, she made some more fuss and even told the manager that she knows the airline owner and so on. It took a lot of convincing skills by the manager to make Reddy cool down. Finally, a seat was specially made available for her in the corner of the room. Reddy then spent all the time fiddling with her Blackberry. She even refused to sign autographs and take pictures with a couple of young fans who wanted to talk to her," concluded the source.u00a0u00a0
