Says a source, “Though the director flew in unit hands earlier for the long shooting stint ahead of them, it is proving to be tough for them. One of the unit hands, who is part of the action team, had to be admitted to hospital.”
Adds the source, “He is diabetic and has to take more precautions than others. He was uncomfortable and required immediate medical care. His health condition is being monitored now.”
On July 27, Kabir had tweeted, “Shoot begins here tomorrow#Ladakh. 200 strong crew all acclimatised and ready to roll.”
Due to the high altitude, complaints of vomiting and dizziness are common among tourists to Ladakh.
Salman is slated to join the unit later this week. The actor will be shooting a promo of the next season of reality show Bigg Boss tomorrow.
Kabir remained unavailable for comment.
