Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan are coming together. We mean, professionally. The stars will be shooting a commercial together for Middle Eastern lifestyle brand, Splash, says a source.

"Salman will shoot for it before he flies out to Ladakh to begin shooting for Kabir Khan's Tubelight. The two have worked together in about five films, but hadn't shot a commercial together," the source says of the ad for the brand owned by UAE-based Indian entrepreneur, Mickey Jagtiani.

That's some relief for voyeurs, considering after aggressive speculation about Katrina teaming up with Salman for the Kabir Khan film, fans were disappointed when the news was dissed last month. The star is said to have been paired with Deepika Padukone in the period drama, although the makers are yet to make an official announcement about the leading lady.

Then there were rumours of Salman and Kat coming together in Rajkumar Santoshi's next, four years after their last outing, Ek Tha Tiger. However, the director was recently shown the door for failing to keep the script draft ready. With it died the Salman-Katrina reunion buzz.

Earlier this year, Katrina split from her actor beau of four years, Ranbir Kapoor, in what most say was a sour separation. Salman, meanwhile, has been linked to Romanian anchor-actress, Iulia Vantur.

Katrina did not revert to text messages from hitlist.
