Farah, 50, was the choreographer on "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham", which was directed and produced by Karan.
While Farah appeared in a tiny role in Shah Rukh's "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" (1998), Karan, 43, was seen as one of his friends in "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge" (1995).
