After the success of 'Dangal' (2016), Aamir Khan continues to lay emphasis on the importance of empowering women. He is part of 'Shooon Te Shaaan', an advertisement that’s part of the Nayi Soch campaign for Star Plus. Sources claim that the channel spent a whopping Rs 100 crore on it. From using promos across the network to hoardings across India, especially in small towns, the network went all out. A part of the sum has also been used for print and digital ads.

The superstar teamed up with Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari and acting coach, Prakash Bhardwaj, for the advertisement.
