Veryâu00c2u0080u00c2u0088few know them as Rishpal Singh Rekhi and Jagwinder Singh Dhaliwal. But the moment their stage names, Rishi Rich and Juggy D, are announced, their fans go berserk. That is exactly what happened during their gig at the Enchanted Valley Carnival recently. Their renditions for movies like Boom (2003), Hum Tum (2004) and Kyaa Kool Hai Hum (2005) are unforgettable.

It's been a while since their songs made it to the soundtrack of Bollywood movies. But, fans of Rishi and Juggy can now rejoice — the two are set to make music for Hindi films next year.

New home
Rishi is so serious about Hindi film music that he has moved to Mumbai (he was born and brought up in England). "It has been five months since I shifted here. I want to be actively involved in Bollywood now. I am working on Mohit Suri's Half Girlfriend and Anees Bazmee's Mubarakan," says Rishi, who has already completed work on the Shraddha Kapoor-Arjun Kapoor starrer.

"I've done two tracks for the film, and they are very different. I am on Mubarakan now. There are a couple of other projects, but I can't talk about those yet."

Is his creative partner, Juggy, also contemplating shifting base to India? "Well, I may. Over the last three years, I've been spending six months in Delhi and six months in London for shows. But now, we are completely focussing on Bollywood," says Juggy.

Away so far
Asked what kept them away from B-Town for so long, Rishi says, "I've been in the US, working with Jay Sean. I feel it's all about timing. Now that I'm living here, I will get time to work on movies. I also want to focus on indie music."

For Juggy, it's the demand for their music that brought them back. "They want Juggy D, Jay Sean and Rishi Rich. That's what we are doing. We just did a song for Mubar-akan with Arjun ," says Juggy, who will release a solo single next year.
