Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, despite having faced objection from several sports stars over his selection as India's Goodwill Ambassador for Rio Olympics 2016, continues to encourage athletes Sandeep Sharma and OP Jaisha
Salman Khan found himself in the middle of controversy after he was announced the Goodwill Ambassador of the Indian Contingent for Rio Olympics 2016. Milkha Singh and Yogeshwar Dutt questioned the Indian Olympic Association's decision and instead wanted a sportsperson to be announced as the ambassador. However, all these controversies seem to have not affected the Bollywood star.
