In the nearly three-minute long clip, Swedish model Frida Gustavsson struts towards the camera against a Spartan backdrop in several sheer white garments, as well as a pair of high-waisted pleather shorts. Similar to the high fashion catwalks staged this past September, H&M's collection is dominated by long full vintage skirts.
H&M is hardly original in putting a particular focus on the mood of the '60s and '70s, with brightly colored shapes that are short and sharp alongside a more romantic silhouette that is long and elegant. This past month during the pre-fall 2011 collection presentations in New York, retro chic looks were abound during the catwalk shows for DKNY, Moschino Cheap & Chic, Roberto Cavalli, and Oscar de la Renta.
