After a cameo in Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap, Raveena Tandon will be next seen in a lead role in an upcoming film directed by Rishi Deshpande
This film, incidentally, will also mark Raveena’s singing debut. The actress seems upbeat about doing an important film that has her in a full-fledged role after quite a long interval.

Though Raveena had once delivered a voiceover for Dilwale, she hasn’t sung a song for a film before. Interestingly, she always thought her voice was a disadvantage due to its huskiness. “I always thought my voice was husky until I met Rani (Mukerji),” she jokes. Apparently the two of them know each other since childhood.
With an acting career that spans over two decades, Raveena is humble enough to admit that she isn’t very sure about the song. She adds, “I’m not saying it will work but at the same time, I’m confident enough that it’s a lovely song about life.” The film is a sensitive story of a six-year-old boy whose father has been missing.
And his mom has told him that his dad lives up in the sky that the innocent kid believes. He also thinks his father is the one responsible for bringing monsoon clouds and decides the shape of the moon and that he will come and spend time with him as soon as he gets a vacation. Raveena plays the mother of the aforementioned boy in the film.
Producer Vishwajit Gaikwad sums it up, “It is a very sweet song and does not have a very difficult tune but yes, you will get to hear her sing for the first time.”
