Radio City's Rocking On-ground Debut with 'Farhan Live'

Network takes its act on ground with Farhan Akhtar partnering with Nandi Telefilms, as thousands throng to watch the singer-actor-director at the hugely successful gig

Radio City's Rocking On-ground Debut with 'Farhan Live'

Delhi: Radio City 91.1FM, the country's leading radio network, joined hands with Nandi Telefilms for 'Farhan Live', presented by Pulse Candy. Powered by Nutrilite, co-powered by Roohafza and in association with Prayag, the concert was one of the many initiatives the network has taken to create an audience-centric engagement experience for listeners.


Farhan Live an initiative by Nandi Telefilms was held on 8th May in Delhi Indira Gandhi Sports Complex. A step towards building a strong connect with 'Dilwalon Ka Sheher Dilli' considering their love for concerts and live performances, the concert takes forward the Rag Rag Mein Dilli City concept forward with content and localised initiatives to suit citywide preferences.

Promoted extensively via promos, contests and mentions till the 8th of May, Farhan Live presented to audiences a chance to hear the multi-talented singer, actor, director and producer over a 2-hour power packed show. Contests had listeners responding who opened calls with the line 'Rag Rag Mein Dilli City' and went on to answer questions around Delhi's ethos, culture and what makes a Dilliwaala, a Dilwaala.

"With our debut on ground, we would now like to showcase our strength in content, through our marketing efforts. From on-air to online to on-ground, all our marketing efforts are going to be focussed on bringing great content to our listeners, across platforms. A super-hit, well-appreciated show like Farhan Live was a perfect example of where we are heading towards as a content driven brand", said Kartik Kalla, EVP & National Head - Programming, Marketing & AudaCITY.

With thousands thronging to the venue, the event was a huge success, and marked the beginning of a slew of on ground events that Radio City plans to do in order to bring great content to their listeners on ground.
