Of chaos and quiet

There are many things that keep me occupied. If I am home, it's the TV, films, internet and books.

There are times when I stay in one position for hours with the controls of my play station, or with the TV remote or with a book. But I am a traveller too. There are also times when I drive, walk, ride, fly; do whatever it takes to satisfy the wanderer in me.

I am fascinated by wildlife, nature, mountains, the ocean. My friends make fun of me saying that if they left me near the ocean with a book and an iPod with my favourite music, I could be there for decades.

I often oscillate between a hectic, urban, social life and a life of complete solitude with my music and books. At times I also spending time with my daughter, doing things her way. I even go shopping with her – the last thing I would have ever done otherwise. u00a0
