Judge Nucleya says participants of The Remix create unique music due to the liberty offered
Dressed in a quirky orange pant suit, Nucleya is a ball of energy as he flitters across the set of The Remix, mingling freely with the co-judges, contestants, spot boys and strangers. The electronic artiste, who makes his debut as a judge on Amazon Prime's upcoming show, along with Amit Trivedi and Sunidhi Chauhan, says he has grown up listening to his co-mentors.

"Amit is an incredible composer and Sunidhi is a fabulous singer. I am probably as old as they are, but, I made a late entry into the industry. So, in a way, I've grown up listening to them." The singer admits that the freedom given to artistes on the show enables the creation of music that's novel and refreshing.
"Most of the contestants already have sufficient experience in the field. They are happy [to be part of the show] because no one is defining guidelines. They have the freedom to create their own versions [of songs] and end up making tracks that are fabulous. They aren't like the clichéd ones we see in the film industry. As judges, we only give them feedback. Given that I specialise in music production, that's the aspect that I judge them on."
