Most Bollywood stars are forgoing their summer holidays this year and staying back in Mumbai to cast their votes and the rest busy with their shoots

This time of the year, Bollywood stars are usually in a holiday mood. Several of them fly out of Mumbai to cooler climes or combine work with pleasure.


This year, however, several of them are staying back in Mumbai to cast their votes. Stars who are heading overseas for an awards event are likely to combine work with pleasure, while the rest are busy with shoots or promotions for their upcoming films.

The star is busy shooting for Rohit Shetty’s Singham 2. Since the film is slated to release in August, it is a start-to-finish shoot, leaving the actor with no time for a summer break.

He is shooting in Warsaw, Poland, and will not be in Mumbai till June. The star is filming high-octane action sequences for Sajid Nadiadwala’s film, Kick.

Shilpa Shetty will be travelling with her IPL team

As the seventh edition of the Indian Premier League kicks off from April 14, the actress will be travelling with her team, Rajasthan Royals, that is slated to play its first match on April 18 in Abu Dhabi. The actress will be initially zipping across match venues in the UAE and later , she will be travelling across India for the matches. So it will be a work-cum-holiday period with hubby RajKundra and son Viaan, who turns two next month.

Shah Rukh Khan will be busy with his IPL team when he is not shooting for 'Happy New Year'

The star will be travelling to Abu Dhabi for IPL’s inaugural match, where his team, Kolkata Knight Riders, will lock horns with Mumbai Indians. From April 17 onwards, he will shoot for another schedule of Happy New Year in between attending his team’s matches.

The actress will be accompanying Happy New Year co-star SRK to Abu Dhabi for the IPL opening. She then starts shooting for Happy New Year.

The actor is busy with Umesh Shukla’s film, All Is Well, and he also has another schedule of Happy New Year coming up.

She has just begun shooting for her film, Dolly Ki Doli, which also stars Rajkummar Rao, Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma. This means that there is no scope for a summer break anytime soon.
