Bhavesh's innocence, good looks, exceptional height of 6'6" and the energy & spirit of the budding athlete made him an ideal choice for the role of a National level Javelin thrower, which he plays in the film.
He shares how sports came into his life and how challenging it was to play the role of sportsman. He says, "I'm connected to the sports since I was a child and as I was from a sports-based family, I always had an interest in sports. So, I have practiced Air pistol shooting, Swimming, Horse riding, Basketball etc. So, it was not very difficult for me to act as a sportsperson because of my past and I really enjoyed it."
Bhavesh adds that it was unusual feeling when he got the film. He says, "Initially I didn't believe that I was really selected for the film and so did my friends, family and coaches but when I started taking acting workshop in Rohtak the feeling got real for me and I started preparing for the role."
"Though I belong to sports background but it wasn't easy to hold Javelin initially. I had practiced a lot to make myself fit for the role. Making myself perfect in Javelin was a difficult task but I love challenges and I took it as a challenge and accomplished it," he adds.
Director Manoj Tiwari says that he auditioned more than 200 youngsters till he found his perfect actor in Bhavesh. "Despite P Se Pyaar F Se Faraar being Bhavesh's first film, being a sportsman at heart helped him take up the challenge of acting quite sportingly. The cast & crew of P Se Pyaar F Se Faraar vouch for his hard work. Even the senior members of the cast like Sanjay Mishra, Jimmy Shergill, Kumud Mishra says that with Bhavesh they never felt they were acting with a debutant. "He lights up any scene where he features with his energy and child-like spontaneity."
Talking about why "P se Pyaar F se Faraar" chose to go with fresh faces instead of stars with set image, the director Manoj Tiwari explains, "To tell a story based on true incidents with credibility and effectiveness I wanted people to believe and relate to the characters and situations of my film. That's why I opted mainly for fresh faces in the cast and location for this film. Even the known faces in the star cast are meant to go against their established images and you will never feel for a moment that you are watching Jimmy Shergill, Kumud Mishra, Girish Kulkarni and Sanjay Mishra in the film, you will feel that you are watching real and relatable characters from the western Uttar Pradesh."
This is the first time ever in Bollywood that film is made on focusing the sector of Javelin throw.
