"Back in the '70s, homemakers would create string art patterns as a hobby. It's making a comeback as an art form," says Aliasgar Sabuwala of Inkspire, who will conduct the workshop with artists Tanvi Jadhav and Pradnya Ghate who run Strings Attached. "First, the guests will be taught how to hammer nails on a base board to create a design pattern. Then, they need to wrap the string, geometrically or twirl it randomly to form a mesh work. It's quite simple and fun once you know how to do it," he adds.
