Mostly seen in serious roles, Mahie Gill is looking forward to doing a comedy. She has got an offer and is hoping to sign on the dotted line
After being associated with much appreciated celluloid offerings "Dev D", "Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster" and "Paan Singh Tomar", Mahie earned a name for herself as a dependable actress.

"After a long time, finally somebody has approached me for a comedy film and I am all set for it. Today, (Wednesday) I have a meeting for the same. Let's see how things shape up," Mahie told IANS.
"I am not allowed to talk much about the film as it is in a very initial stage. First, let me sign the film, then we can talk about it," she added.
Usually she has been offered character roles.
"I have been getting many offers but all the roles that are being offered are more serious kind of roles. I want to come out of that image and try comedy now," said Mahie, who is happy playing Mona Darling in the "Zanjeer" remake.
"I am glad that I am part of that film. It was a different experience for me. It's a senseless role, but it's fun playing these kind of roles as well," said the actress who had a small role in fun-filled action drama "Dabangg".
Currently, she is busy promoting "Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns", slated for a March 8 release.
