German Formula One driver Sebastian Vettel became the winner of the inaugural Indian Grand Prix at Greater Noida's Buddh International Circuit. He defeated McLaren's Jenson Button and Ferrari's Fernando Alonso who came second and third at the podium. CS tells you more about this racing champion:



>>u00a0The win at the Indian Grand Prix was Vettel's 11th win of the year. Vettel is the current world champion having won the championship in 2010 and 2011.

>>u00a0Vettel, in his first year as a driver for Red Bull, secured the company's first pole position and race win in the team's history. The following year (2010) he went on to become the youngest driver ever to win the World Drivers' Championship. He also helped them win their first World Constructor's Championship.u00a0

>>u00a0He followed up his first championship with a second in 2011, becoming the youngest double as well as youngest consecutive champion.

>>u00a0Vettel holds numerous other 'youngest' Formula One records -- the youngest driver to have taken part in an official practice session of a Grand Prix, score championship points, lead a race, secure pole position and win a race.

>>u00a0He once said in an interview that his childhood heroes were three Michaelsu00a0-- Michael Schumacher, Michael Jackson and Michael Jordon. He had dreams of becoming a singer, but realised that his voice wasn't that great.

>>u00a0Vettel started his Formula One career with BMW Sauber in 2006. Later in 2007, he scored his first point in the United States Grand Prix becoming the youngest ever driver to do so.
