A month after Kartik Aaryan said he was "loving the term bromantic [hero]" being assigned to him, he tells mid-day that the template doesn't imply that the industry does not take him seriously. "Had the industry not taken me seriously, would producers be willing to bet money on me? I am getting sufficient work," says Aaryan, ahead of the release of his next, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.
Being typecast, he says, hasn't disadvantaged him. "At the end of the day, I want to satisfy the audience. Of course, I want to experiment with different roles too, but they have to be good. I don't want to be part of a film to merely prove that I can do a variety roles too," he says.
