Strangely even when promoting his no-holds-barred chat show 'Koffee with Karan', the filmmaker himself seems to be in no mood to answer any uncomfortable questions
Karan Johar may be all set to grill his industry friends in the new season of his chat show, Koffee with Karan, and make them spill secrets, but when it was his turn to speak about some bitter truth, he chose to get his PR person to stop us from asking them.

On Thursday, KJo was giving print interviews to promote his show, while munching on kishmish (raisins) and sipping coffee. What seemed like a rather amusing set-up, when this reporter was done with asking the mandatory show-related questions, she broached the topic of his last film, Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’s dismal business.
Suddenly an aide of his PR person jumped to his defence and physically stopped the reporter from asking the question. Karan watched the drama, while continuing munching on kishmish. Later, he rushed off to apparently another urgent assignment. We are amused and surprised, considering KJo has been quite an open-minded interviewer and his quotable quotes have often been interviewers’ delight. Looks like we touched on a sore nerve. Oops. But wouldn’t a “No comment” taken less energy and more dignity?
When asked about Salman Khan as a guest on his show, he said, “He is a shy person and does not like talking about his personal life. I always wanted to have him on the show and it was really nice of him to come and open up.”
And yes, KJo revealed that Shah Rukh Khan will feature in the show towards the season’s finale. His wishlist includes composer AR Rahman and Sachin Tendulkar with his wife Anjali. “I don’t discuss or suggest any names to the production house. If they can get these people, it would be wonderful,” he said.u00a0
