From time to time, Jacqueline Fernandez mentions the 'S' factor in her life — besties Sonam Kapoor, Sujoy Ghosh, mentor and Kick co-star Salman Khan and filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala. And she is banking on one 'S' to help her pull through the shoot of Judwaa 2.
"It's embarrassing, but I hadn't watched the original film (1997) until Sajid offered me the sequel," Jacqueline sheepishly admits. "But after watching the film, I was sure the shoot is going to be one helluva ride. I am really looking forward to dance to the tunes of Tan Tana Tan and Oonchi Hai Building [chartbusters from Judwaa]."
Has she turned to Salman, who played a double role in the original, for guidance for this part? "It is nice that he is going to be around for any advice that we need to make this film a big hit like the first one. Varun [Dhawan] steps into Salman's shoes and that's a big task. But with Salman around, I am sure we don't have to worry about anything," she says, adding that the superstar has agreed to help the cast prep for their roles.
Calling 2017 her 'busiest year', the actress is excited about the diverse range of characters she will play on screen. "I recently wrapped up Reload [with Sidharth Malhotra]. I have amazing action sequences in that film and was excited about the stunts. It has comic elements too, so it's going to be a complete entertainer. I'll also start work on Tarun Manuskhani's Drive, which includes fast cars," gushes Jacqueline, who has been signed up as the brand ambassador of Lee Jeans.
