Post her debut in Vicky Donor, Yami Gautam has been having a rollicking time when it comes to endorsing brands. Not only is she the face of a fairness product, she is also the brand ambassador of a cell phone company. However, when she recently demanded Rs 1.5 crore to endorse a product, the owners of the jewellery brand promptly replaced her with Ileana D’Cruz.

Our source from the jewellery company says, “Yami is definitely in demand but the price she quoted was a bit too much for us. So we went ahead and approached Ileana.” The source also points out that while Yami is just one film old, Ileana already has a huge fan base in the South. Ileana apparently was signed for a comparatively lesser sum of Rs 50 lakh.
The informer adds, “Ileana is a fresh face and post Barfi! she has been flooded with lots of offers. She showed interest in our brand so we signed her.” While Yami remained unavailable for comment, Ileana’s spokesperson confirmed that she has just signed a diamond jewellery brand.u00a0
