Actress Bipasha Basu's styling and makeup costs for 'Creature 3D' will apparently burn a hole in her producer Bhushan Kumar's pocket

Bipasha Basu is all set to promote Vikram Bhatt’s film Creature 3D, but the actress apparently wants the film’s makers to take care of costs incurred for her styling, hair and makeup. What’s more, this cost is amounting to a whopping Rs 1 lakh per promotional appearance.

A source close to the actress says, “Bipasha will promote the film but her stylist will apparently charge around Rs 65-70,000 and her hair and makeup artistes need to be paid around Rs 15-20,000. Her driver and man Friday too have to be paid.” Another source says that Bips has insisted on wearing what her stylist asks her to even at the print interviews and that the stylist will be paid for these appearances as well.

It may be pointed out that the film is said to have already gone over-budget due to the VFX effects used in it and now Bipasha Basu’s demands  will apparently up the costs considerably. This, in turn, is said to have upset the film’s producer. When contacted, Bhushan Kumar said, “Bipasha has not charged any extra amount for the film’s promotional activities. We have signed a contract which clearly states the remuneration for her staff and we will continue the same for promotions as well.”

On her part, Bipasha said, “Staff payments are always a part of the film contract and they get paid an amount that has been already agreed upon. So there is no additional cost here. Also, why is this being touted as an exceptional case? Every actor’s staff charges remuneration for their daily work — be it promotions or film shoots.”
