Now that Salman and John are not there with them will the show generate into a free-for-all catfight?" Well, we'd love that.

The Movies I Loved Growing Up
The Golmaal and Golmaal Returns director lists his pick of flicks...
JEWEL THIEF (1967): This was an amazing film. There were some 21 to 22 characters in Vijay Anand's film. All of them kept on lying to the hero played by Dev Anand. I thought he would be the Jewel Thief as he was the film's lead but at the end, the villain (Ashok Kumar) lived up to the film's title. And we all sat watching and waiting with bated breath for Dev Anand to be the Jewel Thief!
JOHNNY MERA NAAM (1970): This is again Vijay Anand's film about two brothers who get separated one becomes a cop and the other a smuggler. It was an extremely entertaining lost -and-found formula. I still remember one of the dialogues between Dev Anand and Jeevan which goes: Agar chor, chor pe bharosa na kare, toh Allah Bhagwan pe bharosa karna chod dega! Imagine such a dialogue in today's times! It would surely get everyone concerned into trouble.
SHOLAY (1975): Arre O Samba....! This is a memory that remains etched in my growing up years. Sholay is unique because of its characters and canvas. Even those who had small roles and just one line to say in the film were remembered.
Golmaal (1979): It was Amol Palekar all the way in Hrishikesh Mukherjee's film. It had everything in it including a car chase sequence at the end the scene I loved watching the most as I digged thrills on the big screen.
INKAAR (1977): I remember this film for the scene which had a car toppling. It was the first film I saw which showed cars going turtle. It was a fascinating sight. Veeru Devgan was the film's action director and one of the early films to show such action. It was a thriller and the mystery element had me hooked.
