Getting Jiggy

Sanjay Dutt has not yet seen his latest flick Luck as he is shooting in South Africa. The young lass who has got jiggy with him in the film's title tracks is Snita Mehay who is from the UK and is stepping into B-Town.

SEEKING LADY LUCK: Over the weekend, director Soham Shah along with Luck's cast Shruti Haasan and Imran Khan did the rounds of various theatres in the city to interact with the audience and distribute music CDs.

Luck ke liye kya nahin karega!

The Movies I Loved Growing Up

The Kambakkht Ishq actress lists her pick of flicks...

Breakfast At Tiffany's: Directed by Blake Edwards, this film, remains one of my all-time favourites in story-telling, apart from the fact that it starred Audrey Hepburn my favourite actress.

Audrey played Holly Golightly, a Texas-born country hick turned New York cafu00e8 society girl, who makes her living coaxing dollars off rich, older gentlemen, is like a dream for me my ultimate inspiration as the star-performer.u00a0

Mausam: I love Sharmila (Tagore-Pataudi) aunty's character in this film by Gulzarsaab. The film etchedu00a0 the beautiful and touching relationship between a father and his daughter.

Sharmila aunty was the goddess of innocence, grace and class in every frame and again for me, an inspiration of a glamourous diva and power-packed performer. She has inspired me and my career.

Apart from Mausam, two of my other favourites films featuring her are Satyajit Ray's Apur Sansar where she made her debut in cinema and Devi.

Arth: Mahesh Bhatt's film had two of my favourite actresses Shabana Azmi and Smita Patil. Their souls could be literally seen through their eyes in each close-up. Arth is an ode to relationships.

The performances of Shabanaji, as the timid housewife completely in love with her husband (Kulbhushan Kharbhanda), who later grows from strength to strength and later rejects him when he comes back to her and Smitaji as the neurotic passionate actress were unforgettable. I would love to do a film like Arth.u00a0

Bobby: It's a classic teenage love story between two teenagers of different classes. Bobby's (Dimple Kapadia) character is very much like me emotional, spunky, passionate, honest and true to her love Rishi (Kapoor) uncle. His character is so innocent and nau00efve and yet when it comes to love he's so strong. I loved his performance in the film.

Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge: Adi's (Chopra) film, for me, is the ultimate on romance I have watched the film more than 50 times and can watch it yet again.

It featured the tender romance between two of my favourite stars Shah Rukh and Kajol as Raj and Simran still linger in our mind and hearts.

It's a story that inspired the nation to just believe in the passion and purity of love. It's a lesson in love well-told. An unforgettable experience of what true love is about.

Sallu in Deva's next

Salman Khan will be seen in Prabhu Deva's next after Wanted. Sources reveal that Sallu is mighty impressed with his work in Wanted and wants to work with him once again in another South remake.

In fact, Salman has even given him a verbal go-ahead for the project and Prabhu Deva plans to cast south actress Nayanthara opposite him.
