Saif: How Dare You!
Saif Ali Khan is very upset about certain remarks passed about girlfriend Kareena by producer Pritish Nandy. The fight began when Nandy tweeted about Kareena: "Why don't you see what she looked like in Chameli and compare it to Kambakkht Ishq? Kareena looked stunning in those days.

Today she is a joke." Kareena responded with: "Some people have too much time to blog and talk to others so much." Pritish lashed back with "I think Kareena is pathetic. I am, of course, not referring to Kareena as a person but the character that she's portrayed in Kambakkht Ishq."
Says Kareena's friend, "Saif is very angry with the comments. Saif sent a very angry message to Pritish that no man can talk about a woman like that and what Pritish had done was uncalled for." Trust our gallant chote nawab to come rescuing his Bebo on a white charger.
Designing Lap...
Arjun Rampal's lounge bar Lap that opens in Delhi next month has been designed by Bangalore-based architect-interior designer Sandeep Khosla (not to be confused with one half of designer duo Abu-Sandeep).
Arjun says, "Sandeep is brilliant. He has designed all the Shiro and Hard Rock Cafu00e9s. I like Sandeep's style as he understands what I want.

It should be as comfortable as a lap. The decor of Lap is a blend of rich decadent opulence with elements of India along with an amalgamation of modernity." Phew... that's quite a mouthful!

The Movies I Loved Growing Up
The OSO director lists her pick of flicks...
Singing In The Rain: It was a big musical sweet, funny, romantic of the '50s featuring Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds. I loved the sets, the grand song picturisations, which I tried to do in Jaan-E-Mann and the way the scenes were beautifully shot by Stanley Donnen and Gene Kelly.u00a0
Arjun: This film made me decide that I want to direct movies. Till then, I was just enjoying films. During the '80s, we used to make such crap films but the technical finesse and the way Arjun was shot by Rahul Rawail, awed me. Rahul was one of the most sound technical directors we had till Dacait. His shot-taking and visual sense was superb.
Sholay: As children, Sajid and I would go to watch this film at Maratha Mandir every other week and enact various parts from it. I loved the comedy as a kid but when I grew up, I understood how well technically Ramesh Sippy had shot the film; especially the train robbery sequence. The sound effects were great. Every time Amitabh Bachchan died, Sajid would start sobbing. Sholay and Clerk are two of our favorite films and we remember all the dialogues by heart.
Clerk: I love the sheer hamminess of this Manoj Kumar film. I have watched it so many times that I don't watch the entire movie now. Maybe the mad sense of humour of both of us came from there. Clerk is a treasure chest of ham scenes. I love Clerk.
Yaadon Ki Baraat and Hum Kisise Kum Nahin: These two films never get outdated. Just the songs are still so popular like Bachna Ae Haseeno. In the scene when the three brothers unite, I used to cry. Nasir Hussain made trendy commercial entertainers. He was a very underrated director.
Tat's our man, dutt!
We caught up with Sanjay Dutt flaunting his tattoos at Mehboob Studios where he had come to shoot for a sunglasses ad along with close buddy Sunil Shetty.
There were reports that the relations between the two friends had become strained but going by the warm vibes both shared nothing appeared amiss.
Bonding Beauties
After patching up with Shatrughan Sinha, Rekha came for the mahurat of his next production Aaj Phir Jeena Ki Tamanna Hai (where she's also acting in opposite him).
The way Rekha appeared to be chatting and bonding with the Sinha's especially their beti Sonakshi, it seemed the 30-year cold war between Shatru and Rekha never happened.

Shoe Chhe?
While we like Jackie Shroff with his patchwork jeans, we're not too fond of his frayed shoes.
That is not fashionable coming from the stylish Jackie. Come on, Jaggu... you couldn't have fallen on such hard times that you couldn't have bought new ones for the event.
