No IPL for Duggu
In response to our article ('Switching Loyaly ofr ROYALty'; Hitlist, March 18) about Hrithik Roshan performing for Shilpa Shetty's IPL music video on Rajasthan Royals, Hrithik's spokesperson from Carving Dreams called us up to clarify, "Hrithik will not be part of RR's video or its promotion. He has been busy shooting for his home production Kites which still has one short schedule pending, and had hence excused himself from all IPL-related activities."

Sajid Nadiadwala has taken his wife Wardha, two sons Subhaan and Sufiyan and director Sajid Khan to London for a holiday cum recce for his next film House Full. Says Nadiadwala, who had been tied down with the promos of Kambakht Ishq which releases this month-end says, "It's been a chaotic few months and I felt we all deserved a break."
House Full, stars Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal, Ritiesh Deshmukh, Deepika Padukone and Lara Dutta.
Spotted
Wednesday evening was au00a0 celeb affair at PVR Juhu. One spotted B-Town couples Ranbir Deepika, Adhyayan-Kangana, Anjana-Rehaan at the cinema hall.
A source present reveals, "All the couples had come separately and coincidentally were in the same cinema watching the same movie Little Zizou. After the movie got over there was a huge crowd of people and press around them.
People were around them for autographs but media gathered since they thought all the celeb couples had come to watch the Lottery premiere."
JT misses Aamir
One person who is always present on the sets of Salman Khan and Asin starrer London Dreams is the actress' father Joseph Thottumkal aka JT, who also doubles as her manager.
He accompanies his daughter everywhere whether it is to her shooting or a public event.
His constant presence on the set irked Sallu, who one day walked upto him and asked, "Do you think that if you stand guard over your daughter that I won't get 'friendly' with her? Let me just tell you that nothing stops me, and if I want to do something, I will do it irrespective of your presence here."
Ever since that day, the poor father has been missing the good old days when his daughteru00a0 used to shoot with a saner Khan Aamir.
Sanju not to blame
Ajay Devgan's home production All The Best directed by Rohit Shetty rolls on March 27 in Mumbai.
Says a source close to Devgan, "There are rumours that the film got postponed to May because Sanjay Dutt wasn't giving dates till then (due to his political campaigns) but none of them are true. Sanju was not needed for the first schedule. Only Ajay, Bipasha and Fardeen were required for that schedule and Sanju was always to join them in Goa.
In fact, Dutt and Devgan are pals and Sanju wanted to opt out of the film but Ajay insisted on his presence and they worked it out. He's extremely fond of Sanju and feels his presence will add depth to the film."
Party man!
The Showman aka Subhash Ghai has been bitten by the party bug. A khabru tells us, "In the last ten days, he has held as many as 5 get-togethers at his infamous Madh-island bungalow.
What's weird is that at these 'get-togethers' there are no A-list stars.
However there is an assortment of wannabes, starlets and some of the producers close friends from the industry. An eye witness tells us, "The biggest bash Ghai threw was a pre-Holi bash last week and the biggest star present was Jaaved Jafferi!
And there was a lesser-known actress Preeti Jaiswal who is making her debut in Ghai's co-produced venture Right Yaa Wrong."
What we'd like to know what the director is celebrating in these far-flung places with these far-from-famous folks?
Naseer talks
We saw a hilarious interview of Naseeruddin Shah (with wife Ratna Pathak Shah) on NDTV.
The actor was talking about how many directors' first films were their best. He mentioned Shyam Benegal, Govind Nihalani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
And then a moment later he struck out the last name saying, "No, not Vinod. He still has to make a good film." His wife piped in with, "Wasn't Vinod's first Saza-E-Maut?" and Shah laughed, "I think so, and that will also be a title of his autobiography."
Last time SRK said something rude about Vidhu Vinod Chopra at an award function, the director dashed off an angry letter to the actor.
Something tells us the mailman will be stopping by Naseer's home very soon.
