I like to move it, move it...

The king of all dance shows is finally here. After a spate of rather dull reality contests, Just Dance comes as a refreshing break. And the three livewire judges add to the uniqueness of the show. The chemistry between the dance heavyweights, Farah Khan, Vaibhavi Merchant and the man himself, Hrithik Roshan, definitely makes the show worth watching.

Three good
Being veteran judges on reality shows, the two ladies make their presence felt effortlessly. But Hrithik doesn't seem like a newbie in anyway. The actor charms his way to the audience's heart -- not just with his bubblegum fluidity and drop-dead good looks, but also with his sensitivity towards the contestants and encouraging remarks.

First day, first show
The first episode of Just Dance is as good as it gets. As expected, Hrithik steals the show with his grand entry and stunning performance on a medley of songs. For once, you even get to see Farah and Vaibhavi shake a leg. The host of the show, Ayushmann Khurrana is his usual bubbly, cheerful, witty, spontaneous self. He even manages to learn a few belly dance moves from a contestant in the launch episode.

The big fight
The contestants are from all over the world -- New York to Durgapur, Kolkata to Katni. With 30,000 of them auditioning, the judges seem to be having a hard time narrowing down the search to 52 who will rock the Just Dance stage. The Ultimate Indian Dance Champion, will be crowned the winner and given the opportunity to dance with Hrithik in a video and awarded '1 crore in cash and a Swift from Maruti Suzuki.

Great shakes
The stories associated with the dancers add a touch of humanness to the glamorous contest. There's a fruitseller from Chandigarh who steals your heart and even moves the judges to tears. A girl from Katni puts up a solid performance in spite of a fractured hand. And then you have contestants who leave you in splits. A puny looking guy from Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh starts dancing even before the music can start and has his eyes shut for most part of the performance. So much so, he's clueless of the judges dancing behind him. Needlss to say, that he's a victim of Farah's trademark sarcasm. All in all, the show is a complete entertainer, ensuring that your weekend nights are well spent. So tune in to Just Dance on Saturdays and Sundays at 9pm on Star Plus, Star Pravah and Star One, and get grooving.
