Kukunoor recently revealed that he has started writing Hyderabad Blues 0, which will delve into the protagonist's back-story
Two decades after Nagesh Kukunoor's Hyderabad Blues inadvertently started the trend of indie movies in India, the director has hinted that a prequel is on his mind. Kukunoor recently revealed that he has started writing Hyderabad Blues 0, which will delve into the protagonist's back-story. "I haven't completed the script. The 1980s [the period that the story is set in] are now clearly the past. Two generations have gone by. So, it feels like it will be a fun story to tell. But I am also potentially looking at it in a web series format," said Kukunoor.
