Huma Qureshi is now testing new waters. As soon as she wrapped up the shoot of her next film, Dedh Ishqiya, the actress began attending pottery classes.
Huma was always keen to pursue a craft and with time on hand, she decided to make the most of it.

The actress has been trying to get creative with clay at a class in Versova. Her first task was to make diyas as it was the onset of the festive season.
Huma says, “After making diyas this Diwali, I realised that it’s a lot of fun. I think everyone should try pottery making at least once. It is a good way to light up your life with your creations.”
Even though it was her first attempt at the craft, she has been faring well and earned appreciation from her teacher. She made about half a dozen diyas in her maiden attempt, painted them and gifted them to her friends. Her next step is to mould the clay at the potter’s wheel to make a vase.u00a0
