Amitabh Bachchan clocks 79 years today. To mark the occasion, his costume from Shahenshah (1988), an original booklet of Deewaar (1975) and a set of show cards of Sholay (1975) are being auctioned on the fan engagement platform, Fantico. Big B’s Shahenshah jacket had an armour-like silver pattern on one arm. Director Tinnu Anand says, “The brief given to the designer was that it needed to be spectacular, which would take the viewers’ breath away. That was exactly the reaction when the crew saw Mr Bachchan in it.” Along with the film’s iconic dialogue, “Rishtey mein toh hum tumhare baap lagte hai... naam hai Shahenshah,” it is also Big B’s most-loved costume.

Jackky, Rakul make it Insta official

On Sunday, Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani let out their well-kept secret. The two are in love, and to mark Singh’s 31st birthday, they made their relationship Insta official. Sparks flew when they began talks for the project earlier this year. They decided to make their relationship public after Ranjit M Tewari’s directorial venture wrapped up in London last week. Earlier, Bhagnani was rumoured to be dating Youngistaan (2104) co-star Neha Sharma though they claimed to be just friends.
