If reports are to be believed, Shah Rukh Khans production Red Chillies Entertainment has signed Kartik Aaryan for their next project.

Kartik Aaryan seems to be on a film signing spree. He's already on board for Ram Madhvani's drama where he'll essay the role of a journalist, he's doing Rohit Dhawan's next that is the remake of Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, he has Om Raut's period drama in 3D. He already has Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 coming up soon.

And now, a report in Peeping Moon has stated that he's also going to be seen in Shah Rukh Khan's next home production. This shall be in a lighter space and will be directed by Section 375 fame Ajay Bahl. A source told the portal, "The script of the film is locked and the makers are planning to roll it around mid-next year."
It added, "Kartik Aaryan has shown his interest and is currently discussing his dates before he commits to the film. However, the talks so far have been positive and it's just a matter of fact Kartik signs on the dotted line."

Khan has been away from the celluloid since his last release Zero in 2018 but seems to be very active as a producer. In these last two years, apart from the aforementioned film that he also co-produced, Khan has also bankrolled projects like Badla, Bard of Blood, Betaal, Class of 83, and is now gearing up for another project called Love Hostel, with Bobby Deol, Vikrant Massey, and Sanya Malhotra.
On the acting front, Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly going to give his fans Pathan as his next film that also stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone. He has also green-lit Rajkumar Hirani's next and Atlee Kumar's action drama. An official confirmation is yet to be made.
