Asin's father Joseph Thottumkal better known as JT is an exception. He tags along wherever the Ghajini actress goes.
Constant fixture
He was recently spotted at a film awards nite. On Tuesday, JT accompanied her to a women achievers award event. He remains a constant fixture by her side.
Though nowadays most young actresses call the shots themselves and don't have hangers-on at shoots and events, Asin prefers that her father be around.

Though JT was managing his own business, as soon as his daughter shot to stardom, he decided to let go of his entrepreneurship to manage his daughter's work.
He even accompanies her to all her foreign shoots.

As reported ('Asin goes househunting'; Hitlist, July 9), JT had at that time, admitted that he had shifted base to Mumbai from Chennai along with Asin.
"I am here to help her out," he said. He had taken on the onus of finding a house in the city "as she is busy with her film shooting and photo sessions."
